Duration: One year, part-time (Weekday/night & Saturday classes)

The Associate in Dramatic Art is a comprehensive and demanding training programme for young actors. It provides students with practical skills in a variety of theatre forms and styles, as well as film and television, whilst expanding student’s theoretical knowledge and understandings.

COURSE OVERVIEW

The Associate in Dramatic Art course is designed and structured to assist with the development of students individual craft, with the primary emphasis on the refinement of performance skills - solo and ensemble. Upon completion of the course, students will have:

  1. Studied, rehearsed and performed a variety of Theatre material;
  2. Acquired and developed technical skills in Acting, Voice and Movement, along with a greater understanding of Theatre Literature & History, History of The Arts and other allied studies;
  3. Acquired the skills necessary to further their artistic studies.
